Irix Revo – Nový standard filtrů pro náročné fotografy

Irix Revo – a new standard of filters for demanding photographers

Modern photography is not just about having a good camera and lens. More and more photographers – both professionals and enthusiasts – are reaching for high-quality photographic filters that allow them to achieve exceptional effects already at the shooting stage. Among the available solutions on the market, the Irix Revo filter series holds a special place. It is a new generation of filters designed for the most demanding users who expect reliability, precision, and outstanding optical quality.

Discover the power of Irix Revo filters – CPL and UV&Protect

The Revo series consists of highly advanced and technologically modern optical filters designed for use with professional and semi-professional photographic lenses. They are available in CPL and UV&Protect versions. The core material is top-quality optical glass, coated with multi-layer anti-reflective and protective coatings. All of this serves to minimize reflections, flares, and contrast loss, while also protecting the filter from scratches, dust, and water.

In the world of photography and film, where image quality is key, optical filters are one of the essential tools that help achieve it. The Irix Revo series was created for creators who expect not only excellent visual effects but also durability, working comfort, and reliability. Both models are designed with great attention to detail, using proven materials and modern technologies. These are solutions that perform perfectly both in dynamic outdoor conditions and in studio environments.

Construction and materials – strength and durability

Revo filters feature a thin, lightweight frame made of anodized aluminum, making them durable and resistant to deformation. Thanks to the slim profile design, the risk of vignetting is minimized even when working with wide-angle lenses. Each filter has a knurled edge for a secure grip and easy installation, even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions.

Irix Revo CPL – effective polarization and top optical quality

Irix Revo CPL filters effectively eliminate light reflections from non-metallic surfaces, such as glass or water, resulting in greater image depth, more intense colors, and more pronounced details. They are an excellent tool for landscape photographers and product photography creators. The thin aluminum frame, with a thickness of 4.0 mm, allows the use of wide-angle lenses without vignetting, while the overall thickness of 6.0 mm ensures durability and comfort of use. High-quality AGC optical glass from Japan guarantees exceptional clarity, sharpness, and natural color rendering.

The filters are equipped with anti-reflective coatings that minimize flares and reflections, improving contrast and overall image quality. Additional protective layers prevent contamination and damage – the hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings make it easier to keep the filter clean, while resistance to stains and scratches extends the filter’s lifespan. The front thread allows the installation of additional filters or lens hoods. The Irix Revo CPL series uniquely combines premium quality with an attractive price, offering professional possibilities to a wide range of creators.

Irix Revo UV & Protect – Lens protection and exceptional light transmission

Irix Revo UV & Protect filters are essential for protecting the front element of your lens against dust, moisture, scratches, and other mechanical damage. Thanks to their exceptional optical clarity and solid construction, they are an ideal choice for photographers and filmmakers who want to protect their gear without compromising image quality. These filters offer an impressive light transmission rate of 98.9% (in the 420–750 nm range), surpassing the vast majority of competing products, which usually achieve 96–98%.

This ensures that almost all available light reaches the camera sensor, resulting in crystal-clear images, natural colors, and no haze. Made of hardened glass, Revo filters offer high resistance to impacts and scratches, and specially developed coatings effectively protect against smudges and mechanical damage. Thanks to the slim 3.7 mm frame, they can be used with wide-angle lenses without the risk of vignetting, and the total thickness of 5.9 mm ensures robustness while maintaining lightness and aesthetics. The Revo series is equipped with 18 layers of advanced protective coatings: anti-reflective coating to reduce flares and ghosting, hydrophobic and oleophobic coating to repel water, grease, and smudges, scratch-resistant coating for greater durability, and dirt-repellent coating for easier maintenance.

Ready for any conditions – practical and thoughtful functionality

A standout feature of Irix Revo filters is their resilience to changing weather conditions – they perform reliably regardless of temperature or humidity. The filter threads are precisely milled and coated with a protective layer to prevent sticking, allowing smooth attachment and removal even after prolonged use. Additionally, these filters are compatible with snap-on lens caps, meaning you don't need to remove them to protect your lens during storage or transport. Importantly, the frames are made from lightweight yet exceptionally durable aluminum, which not only protects the glass but also does not burden the lens, even during extended use on a tripod or gimbal.

A choice that pays off – quality you can trust

Irix Revo filters are an investment that pays off quickly – not only by improving image quality and protecting your equipment but also thanks to their durability and reliability, making them ready for intensive, long-term use. The Revo line guarantees that your photos will be clean, sharp, and professional. They are perfect for street, reportage, and urban photography. If you seek filters that rival top-tier products but remain affordable, Irix Revo is a choice you will not regret.
