Irix photographic lenses are a line of equipment with unrivaled optical properties, that has been delighting photographers from all over the world for years, even despite its relatively short presence on the market. The brand specializes in providing equipment with fixed focal length and manual focus mechanism for full-frame cameras. Within the range of Irix photographic lenses, there is a wide selection of focal lengths available from 11 mm to 150 mm. With their minimal distortion, Irix lenses are perfect for landscape and interior photography, architecture and astrophotography, as you can see from the works of many brand ambassadors around the world. However, they can also be successfully used even during portrait sessions. Thanks to the use of appropriate electronic components, full communication with the camera is maintained - each image is saved with a full set of EXIF data and the lens aperture can be adjusted directly from the camera's body.

The internal focusing mechanism used in the design of the lenses makes them retain their size throughout the entire focusing range. It was meticulously designed with extreme precision to keep focus breathing at an absolute minimum. Each lens incorporates a wide aperture that produces a fabulous bokeh effect when opened to its maximum. A system of special seals protect the delicate optics from moisture, dust or sand getting inside. Each unit is also equipped with focusing ring lock, protecting it from moving accidentally.

The lenses are available in three different finishes:

Firefly – the housings of the lenses in this series are made of lightweight composite material, which translates into their relatively low weight.
Blackstone – Lenses finished in this standard are constructed with a solid metal housing that can withstand even the harshest conditions and years of intensive use.
Dragonfly – this finish is a combination of the two previous versions, integrating their most important features – high strength with relatively light weight. Their housing is additionally highly scratch-resistant.

Firefly and Blackstone finishes are available on 11mm and 15mm lenses. The other lenses belong to the Dragonfly series. Each model is available with three different mount versions: Canon EF, Nikon F and Pentax K.
